Who we are

We are an independent editorial team. We write the guides, comparisons and how-tos on this site. The site is built for two groups: working barbers who want to know which gear holds up behind the chair, and home users who want a clipper they will not regret buying.

How we pick and research

We start with what the maker says the product does: the official spec pages, manuals and lineup details. Then we read what actual owners and working barbers report about it, including the complaints. When it helps, we put products side by side so the real differences show up: motor type, blade design, battery, noise, weight and what comes in the box.

We believe you should know where information comes from. So we credit our sources, say whose claim it is, whether that is a maker, an owner, a barber or a video reviewer, and mention when a source has a stake in the brand. When something is confirmed, we say so. When it is not, we tell you that too.

Prices change all the time, so we avoid quoting them. When a post does mention a price, it is the maker’s list price on the date shown, and the Amazon price may differ.
