Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026. This TPOB watch list covers the TPOB Slime 2 and the TPOB Play, plus the rest of the lineup worth tracking. Start with the tool you need, then compare the selected kit and delivered total when an offer appears. A sale label does not tell you whether the bundle suits your work.

How We Chose This List
This page compares two TPOB clipper options: the Slime 2 and Play. Use their separate reviews to compare the tools, then match the exact model and included parts to the listing before buying.
1. TPOB Slime 2 Barber Hair Clippers
The linked Slime 2 is the matte-green listing with an X Fade blade. Your Barber Connect lists that matte-green model with a 6,800 RPM motor and a DLC-coated X Fade blade. Check the selected kit rather than borrowing the contents of a different Slime edition.
Key features
- Motor: the retailer lists 6,800 RPM for the matte-green Slime 2.
- Blade: the retailer identifies a DLC-coated X Fade blade.
- Kit check: confirm the included combs, stand and charging equipment for the offer you select.
For a comparison with a different brand, read our TPOB Slime 2 vs Wahl Magic Clip guide.
2. TPOB Play Barber Hair Clippers
The Play has a modular grip design. TPOB’s current Black & White Play page lists dual-speed settings of 6,000 and 7,500 RPM, interchangeable grips and an XO Fusion blade. Use those details for that edition; compare the exact Amazon offer before assuming it has the same blade or accessories.
Key features
- Motor settings: TPOB lists 6,000 and 7,500 RPM for the current Black & White edition.
- Grip design: TPOB describes interchangeable rubber grips.
- Edition check: match the blade and supplied accessories, not only the Play name.
Our TPOB Play article follows Marvy Marv’s video review. Use it to compare what he says about the tool before choosing a kit. TPOB Play review
Why Buy TPOB Clippers on Black Friday?
A clipper deal is useful when it matches the work you need to do. Compare the blade, combs, charging equipment and replacement parts rather than choosing by a discount percentage alone.
A few practical notes for the 2026 sale:
- Check the event dates. Use the merchant’s announced start and end times for the offer you are comparing.
- Compare against the guide. Cross-check any TPOB deal against our Black Friday 2026 clipper deals guide to see how it stacks up against Wahl, Andis, and BaBylissPRO discounts landing at the same time.
- Check the listing, not just the price. Buy from Amazon or the brand’s official storefront listing, and confirm what is in the box – guards, dock, and grip sleeves vary by listing.
Check replacement blades, comb compatibility and warranty terms for the selected TPOB kit. A lower checkout total is less useful if it leaves out an attachment you need. TPOB Play review
Every TPOB Model to Watch, With Price Bands
The Slime 2 and Play are the two most-searched models, but TPOB sells a wider range on Amazon, and a Black Friday markdown on any of them only makes sense against its normal price. These are the price bands the TPOB-sold Amazon listings showed when we checked them on October 31, 2026. Treat them as a baseline to compare against, not as a promise of what the sale price will be.
| Model | What it is | Amazon band, Oct 31 |
|---|---|---|
| Slime 2 (single clipper) | 6,800 RPM, X Fade blade | under $60 |
| Mini Play | compact, dual speed | about $70–80 |
| TPOB X trimmer | brushless, Psycho blade | about $65–75 |
| Play | 7,500 RPM, rubber grips | about $75–85 |
| GO clipper | 7,000–9,000 RPM | about $85–95 |
| Slime 2 3-in-1 set | clipper, trimmer, shaver | about $90–100 |
| Play clipper + trimmer | 2-piece set | about $130–145 |
| GO set | clipper, trimmer, shaver | about $140–155 |
Two of these are easy to overlook. The TPOB Mini Play is a smaller clipper that its Amazon listing describes as dual speed (6,000 and 7,500 RPM) with constant-torque technology, aimed at detail work and smaller hands. The TPOB GO clipper is the single-clipper version of the GO set, listed with a 7,000–9,000 RPM motor, an instant-boost button and a graphene-coated Architek blade.
If you already own a clipper, the TPOB X trimmer is the piece most barbers add next for line-ups and edging. Its Amazon listing names a brushless 7,200 RPM motor and the Psycho blade.
When Black Friday Sales Typically Run
Amazon says Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30, and that early deals are already appearing in its Holiday Shop. The sale itself usually runs longer than one day: according to Florida Today, Amazon’s 2025 Black Friday sale ran from Thursday, November 20 through Cyber Monday, December 1. Amazon has not published its 2026 window yet, so treat a similar week-plus run as likely rather than confirmed.
TPOB also sells direct through its own US store, which runs its own promotions and bundle pricing. A deal there and a deal on Amazon are separate offers with different sellers, shipping terms and return rules, so compare the delivered total for the same kit, not the headline percentage.
- Mid-November: early deals start to appear. Note today’s price for the exact listing you want.
- Black Friday week: the main event. Check prices on the morning they change, because limited-time deals can sell through.
- Cyber Monday: the last day of the run in recent years. If the price you noted has not moved, the offer is not a deal for you.
How to Tell if a TPOB Deal Is Real
A crossed-out price is the seller’s reference price, not proof of a saving. On October 31, 2026, TPOB’s own US store already showed bundles at about $220 against a crossed-out price of about $350, weeks before Black Friday. That is normal retail practice, and it is exactly why the reference price tells you little on its own.
- Write down today’s price for the exact listing and kit. Our bands above are a starting point.
- Check the price history. Free trackers such as Keepa and CamelCamelCamel chart an Amazon listing’s price over months, which shows whether a “deal” is below the usual price or just back to it.
- Match the kit. The 3-in-1 Slime 2 set and the single Slime 2 are different products with different prices. Compare like with like.
- Check the seller. The TPOB listings we link are sold by TPOB. A cheaper third-party offer may come with different warranty support.
- Count the extras you will buy anyway. Guards, blade oil and a charging stand add up if the cheaper kit leaves them out.
For example, if the TPOB Slime 2 3-in-1 clipper, trimmer and shaver set drops close to the price of the single TPOB Slime 2, the set is the better buy for anyone who needs a trimmer. If it does not, the single clipper plus a trimmer you already like may still cost less.
Single Clipper or Set: Which Deal Fits You
The biggest discount on the page is not automatically the right one. Match the deal to what you will actually use:
- Home haircuts or a first clipper: the TPOB Slime 2 single clipper is the lowest-cost way into the brand, and its listing includes guide combs, oil and a cleaning brush.
- Barbers who care about noise and grip: the TPOB Play is the quiet, rubber-grip option. Our Play review follows Marvy Marv’s take on it.
- Smaller hands or detail work: the TPOB Mini Play is the compact pick.
- A full station in one box: the TPOB GO clipper, trimmer and shaver set is the one to watch if you need all three tools.
- Clipper plus trimmer only: the TPOB Play clipper and trimmer set skips the shaver.
Before Checkout: Seller, Returns and Warranty
Amazon’s standard policy lets most items be returned within 30 days of delivery, and in 2025 it extended holiday returns so that most items ordered between November 1 and December 31 could be returned through January 31, according to AL.com’s report on the policy. Check that the holiday window applies to your listing at checkout before you rely on it for a gift.
For warranty, TPOB’s US warranty terms say claims go through its support team with proof of purchase, and that a warranty fee may apply to products more than 90 days old but under a year. TPOB’s own Play product page lists a one-year warranty on non-moving parts. Keep your order confirmation, whichever store you buy from.
If you are buying the TPOB Play as a gift, check which edition the listing shows. TPOB’s Black & White Play on its own store lists a dual-speed motor and an XO Fusion blade, while the Amazon Play listing names a 7,500 RPM motor, so the two may not be the same kit.
FAQ
When do TPOB Black Friday deals start in 2026? Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026. Check the merchant’s published event dates for a specific offer; individual promotions need not start on that day.
Slime 2 or Play: which should I pick? Compare the actual blade and controls. The matte-green Slime 2 retailer page lists an X Fade blade; TPOB’s current Black & White Play page lists an XO Fusion blade and two motor settings. A speed figure alone does not establish which clipper will suit your cutting technique.
How much do TPOB clippers usually drop on Black Friday? Compare the same model and kit across sellers. Check the delivered total rather than treating a crossed-out price or percentage badge as proof of savings.
Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for TPOB deals? Compare the actual offer on either day. The selected kit, seller, delivery charge and return terms matter more than the event name.
Do TPOB clippers come with guards? Check the selected kit’s box contents before buying. A comb set or charging stand shown in a different edition’s photos is not proof that it comes with your order.
Which TPOB clipper is the best Black Friday buy? It depends on your kit. For one clipper at the lowest price, watch the TPOB Slime 2; for a full clipper, trimmer and shaver station, watch the GO set. A deal is only good if it is on the tool you would have bought anyway.
Are TPOB clippers cheaper on TPOB’s own site or on Amazon? It changes by offer. On October 31, 2026 the TPOB store listed most single clippers at around $135 before discounts, while some Amazon listings sat well below that for different editions. Compare the same model and kit, then the delivered total.
Do Black Friday deals cover TPOB blades and guards? Sometimes, but accessories are separate listings with separate offers. If a kit deal leaves out guards or a spare blade you need, add their cost before comparing.
Final Word
Use this watch list to narrow the tools you want, then compare an actual offer against the same model and kit. If you only buy one, the TPOB Slime 2 is the lowest-risk place to start. Our Black Friday clipper guide covers the wider comparison. Black Friday 2026 clipper deals guide
